The Tennessee Titans get a chance to test themselves against the defending Super Bowl champions in Week 2 of the preseason.
Tennessee hosts the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 23 at Nissan Stadium (7 p.m., FOX 17) in the second of three preseason games before the Sept. 13 regular-season opener.
The Titans as a whole had a better joint practice against the Seahawks on Aug. 21 than in last week's joint practice with the 49ers in Santa Clara.
Cam Ward and the Titans offense had an uneven Week 1 preseason performance against San Francisco, scoring once in three possessions against the 49ers backups.
Robert Saleh confirmed on Aug. 21 that the Titans starters will play tonight, though the snap count may fluctuate after the No. 1s got a lot of work in during the practice with the Seahawks .
Among things to watch in the game:
Fernando Carmona will likely start again at right guard and is the favorite to be the Week 1 starter there.
How will the backup OL fare after struggling last week against the 49ers?
Will Julius Chestnut or Michael Carter make a push to force the Titans to consider carrying four running backs on the 53-man roster?
Which cornerbacks and safeties behind the starters will make a move toward securing a roster spot?
