Mariemont will induct 5 into 2026 Doc Kusel Hall of Fame class

Mariemont High School announced that five new members will join its Doc Kusel Athletic Hall of Fame in this year's class, including three graduated athletes and a pair of coaches.

Gerry Storch, a 1946 graduate of Plainville High School before consolidation, was a standout in football, basketball, track and baseball for the Blue Devils. Storch was a second baseman in Plainville's 1945 Class B state champion team , beating St. Henry 9-8 in the championship game.
