He also highlighted the program's remarkable upward trajectory, noting a striking statistical reality: over the last two seasons, Illinois ranks fourth in the fiercely competitive Big Ten—trailing only national heavyweights Indiana, Oregon, and Ohio State —in win percentages, Power Four victories, home wins, and ranked triumphs.
