See the full story · 1 sourcesDay 4 of Indianapolis Colts' training camp was a very good one for quarterback Daniel Jones.
"This was a good rebound day for Jones, whose accuracy missed the mark a bit the day before," wrote Jake Arthur of Roundtable Sports .
Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan noted that Jones was an efficient 14-of-17 passing during Saturday's practice.
"There was a consistent rhythm to Daniel Jones," Bowen wrote.
During one period, Jones completed six consecutive passes as he led the offense down the field, although Bowen mentions that this possession was of the "dink and dunk variety."
ESPN's Stephen Holder mentioned that a main focus during Saturday's practice was on the red zone. There, Holder noted that the offense and defense ended up "playing to a draw" with both units finding some success.
"Among the highlights was tight end Tyler Warren 's leaping catch in the end zone for a touchdown from quarterback Daniel Jones ," Holder wrote. "Another impressive completion came when Jones delivered a strike to receiver Josh Downs in the corner of the end zone."
Jones continues to navigate outside of the pocket as well when needed, "with no obvious limitations to his mobility/performance," as Bowen wrote.
Tight end Mo Alie-Cox echoed similar sentiments after practice.
“He looks like he never got hurt," Alie-Cox said, via The Athletic's James Boyd. "You see he’s throwing dimes left and right on the field. Getting out the pocket, scrambling and different things like that."
