Bundesliga clubs learn their opponents in Friday’s UEFA Europa League and Conference League draw
The UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League draw took place on Friday in Monaco as Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen, and Freiburg found out who their opponents will be. Europa League participants Hoffenheim, who finished fifth in the Bundesliga last season, will face Olympique Lyon, Ferencvaros, Sturm Graz, and Besiktas at home. They will play against Olympiacos, Anderlecht, Crystal Palace, and OFI Crete away from home. 2023/24 Europa League finalists Bayer Leverkusen have a tasty list of fixtures to come. Die Werkself will face Marseille, Beşiktaş, Red Bull Salzburg, and NK Celje at home. In their travels, Carles Martínez Novell’s side will come up against Lyon, GNK Dinamo, Lech Poznan, and OFI Crete. In the Conference League, Freiburg will host Panathinaikos, Twente, and Jablonec at home while traveling to exciting destinations as they face Monaco and Mohammed Salah’s Trabzonspor. They will also play against Lithuanian club Kauno Žalgiris.
