Sources including Turkish transfer pundit Yagiz Sabuncuoglu , Fabrizio Romano , and Sky Sport Italia are all confident that the clubs have shaken hands this evening on a deal.
It is a loan with option to buy for circa €18m, becoming an obligation if certain conditions are met, which will probably include the number of player appearances.
This was put in place by Roma due to Oosterwolde’s poor injury record.
The player had already agreed personal terms with the Serie A side, who are in the Champions League this season.
Oosterwolde is currently out injured, so was walking in the tunnel for tonight’s match when he was asked if he was staying.
“Ask Fenerbahce,” was his reply with a shrug.
