Instead, he was named as an honorable mention selection. Not cracking the list has more to do with factors that are beyond his control as a member of the Atlanta Falcons .
In a recent article , Jeremy Fowler highlights how the league feels about Drake London with a statement from an NFL coach:
"Really solid in most areas, great at the 50-50 catch, great in the red zone. He won't take the top off as often as some others, more of a possession guy, but really good in his role. He'd probably be more of a household name with better QB play." --NFL coordinator".
While Drake London is still able to play at a high level without great quarterback play, you plug him into any offense with an elite quarterback in the league, and he would perform like a top 5 receiver. Unfortunately for him, the Falcons just haven't been able to get it right. That has yet to stop him from getting his credit for how special a talent he is.
