Certain players around the NFL are in a perfect spot for a change of scenery. One of those guys is currently with the Buffalo Bills in Keon Coleman. Coleman, who the Bills selected in hopes of being an elite target for Josh Allen, just hasn't been that guy.
Perhaps things are going to be different with a new coaching staff, but there were also some off-the-field issues for Coleman a year ago.
From top to bottom, it seemed like last season was the exact year Coleman and Buffalo were not hoping for. In a recent trade idea, the Bills would cut ties with him, though they wouldn't really get much in return.

“Coleman was already a potential trade candidate before Bills owner Terry Pegula blamed the team's former coaching staff -- as opposed to the current front office -- for pushing to draft the wide receiver with the No. 33 pick in 2024. Coleman has struggled in two NFL seasons, but it was a fairly shocking insult toward a player still on the roster.
“Buffalo doesn't have to trade him, but between his on-field struggles and the negative vibes stemming from ownership's comments, it certainly could. And the Colts would be a logical candidate to bet on Coleman at a reduced cost,” Seth Walder of ESPN wrote .
The question the Bills have to answer is whether they want to keep Coleman around and hope things work out with a new coaching staff.
The other problem here is that if he has limited value around the league,, why not at least try to keep him around and hope things work out? I wouldn't expect the Bills to move on from him right now, but it's an idea that will float around if he struggles once again next season.
