Tucker Kraft does 11-on-11, Zach Bako-Bewele confident in Week 1 readiness
Two notable injury updates for the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday: tight end Tucker Kraft participated fully in the team's joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals , marking an important final milestone in his return from an ACL injury, and right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele is confident he'll be ready to go for Week 1.
Kraft, who tore his ACL on Nov. 2 of last year, sat out both of the team's preseason games, but he was back for 11-on-11 work against the Cardinals on Wednesday. Per Cameron Ezeir of CBS 58 in Milwaukee , Kraft is no longer on a rep count -- suggesting he's on track to be full go when the Packers open the regular season on Sept. 13. He said the live contact of 11-on-11 was great to help "wake up the nervous system" ahead of Week 1.

— Ryan Wing (@RyanWingFOX11) August 26, 2026 Kraft isn't the only starter on offense working toward Week 1 readiness. Bako-Bewele is coming back from his own offseason knee surgery. While he's not yet a full-time player in 11-on-11 periods, Bako-Bewele is confident he'll be ready for Week 1.

Bako-Bewele needed surgery to repair a partially torn patellar tendon suffered last December. He has been splitting reps with Anthony Belton at right tackle during training camp.
