Their rotation is versatile for every day usage, and also include some of the best alternates in the sport. Now, the 12th Man can mark their calendars for when they can expect to see some of their favorite threads in action.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Seahawks announced two games that will feature the beloved royal blue throwbacks, and one game that will feature the brand new Nike Rivalries grey and green uniform. They are as follows:
Week 7 - Sunday Night Football vs Kansas City Chiefs (throwbacks)
Week 13 - Monday Night Football vs Dallas Cowboys (throwbacks)
Week 16 - Christmas Day vs Los Angeles Rams (Rivalries)
Fittingly, the Seahawks will be rocking the throwbacks against their former AFC West foe, the Kansas City Chiefs. The royal blue should provide an outstanding contrast with the bright red and white road uniforms of KC. As for the Cowboys, Seattle has worn their throwbacks against them. Back in 2023, the throwbacks looked great paired with the classic white Cowboys uniform. Seattle lost a 41-35 shootout, so they will be looking to even the score against Dallas while wearing the royal blues.
The Seahawks debuted their Rivalries against the Rams last year in the thrilling 38-37 overtime comeback victory, so it's only natural for them to hope they bring about a bit more good luck this time around.
One thing to note: the NFL allows teams to wear throwback/alternate uniforms up to four times a year, and the Seahawks have only announced three games. Last year, they wore the royal blue throwbacks three times. It remains to be seen what other game will feature an alternate. Could this year bring about the return of the Action Green alternates?
