Packers announce contract extension for DL Devonte Wyatt
The three-year contract extension between defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt and the Green Bay Packers is now official. The team announced the extension on Monday, the same day when rookies and injured players report to training camp. Wyatt is coming back from a significant lower leg injury suffered in November of last year.
The deal between Wyatt and the Packers was reported initially as a three-year, $57 million extension, including a $20 million signing bonus. The three new years are expected to be tacked onto the final year of his rookie deal, keeping him in Green Bay through the 2029 season, although official details are not currently public.
