Bo Nix has proven to be a franchise quarterback for the Denver Broncos through his first two seasons, but the team could add a quality backup, who has more than just an arm to offer head coach Sean Payton.
When Nix suffered a broken ankle near the end of the Broncos ' win over the Buffalo Bills in overtime of the Divisional Round, Denver's offense struggled to move the ball under backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham. The Broncos lost 10-7 to the New England Patriots in the AFC championship.
Stidham and Sam Ehlinger are the backup quarterbacks for the Broncos during training camp this summer.

Per Steve Wyche of the NFL Network, Payton is looking at potentially signing Taysom Hill, who recently announced that he would not return to the New Orleans Saints for the upcoming season.
"Broncos Coach Sean Payton told Cynthia Frelund and me today that the Broncos will explore bringing in free agent tight end Taysom Hill, who played for Payton with the Saints," Wyche posted on X.
In a post on X on Wednesday, Hill confirmed he would not play for the Saints this season. While he's unsure about his future, Hill refrained from saying he was retiring from the league, keeping open the possibility the free agent could land with another NFL team this year.
"I've taken time this offseason to think carefully about what comes next for my family and me," Hill wrote . "I still don't have a clear answer about what the future holds, but I know that returning to New Orleans is not in the cards.
"As training camp begins, I didn't want my silence to be misinterpreted, and as hard as it is to put into words, I wanted to express my gratitude."
Hill, an undrafted free agent, joined the Saints in 2017. He remained in New Orleans through last season. He's thrown for 2,426 yards, 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions during his career.
As Wyche noted, Hill, 35, is an adaptable offensive player who Payton used as a "joker" in New Orleans, meaning he can be used as a runner or receiver. He's rushed for 2,551 yards and 34 touchdowns. He's caught 110 passes for 1,034 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Because of Hill's vast skillset, it's worth it for the Broncos to bring him and see what he can do for the upcoming season.
