The Cardinals had a winning record in 1935. They went 6-4-2. Only once, though, did they win consecutive games. They averaged only 8.3 points per game, which was sixth in the nine-team league. They allowed 8.1 per game, third in the league. The most they scored in a game was 14 and the most they allowed was 17.

The Cardinals had four All-Pros in 1935.
Blocking back Phil Sarboe (second team)
Wide receiver Bill Smith (first team)
Fullback Mike Mikulak (first team)
Rookie left tackle Tony Blazine (second team)
Sarboe was the team's leading passer with 368 yards. He threw no touchdown passes but had 10 interceptions.
Running back Doug Russell led the NFL with 499 rushing yards, but he didn't score.
Smith led the Cardinals with 24 catches for 318 yards and two touchdowns.
