More than 3,000 athletes from 74 Commonwealth nations and territories will compete in 215 medal events over days and across 10 sports at Glasgow 2026.

The first day of finals in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome features a packed programme culminating in the men's and women's team sprints.
The women's 5,000m final could be the race to watch at Scotstoun, while England's Emily Campbell bids to defend her title on the final day of weightlifting.
09:00-12:30 - netball - Malawi v Tonga followed by Uganda v Scotland
09:30-12:00 - weightlifting - men's 110kg final
10:00-13:15 - track cycling and Para-track cycling
10:00-13:30 - athletics and Para-athletics
14:00-16:30 - weightlifting - women's +86kg final
14:00-17:30 - netball - New Zealand v Trinidad & Tobago followed by Australia v Northern Ireland
16:00-19:00 - track cycling and Para-track cycling - seven finals
18:30-21:00 - weightlifting - men's +110kg final
18:30-21:45 - athletics and Para-athletics - seven finals
19:00-22:30 - netball - Jamaica v Wales followed by England v South Africa
The men's and women's 200m finals are at Scotstoun, as well as Georgia Hunter Bell in the women's 800m final.
At the velodrome, it will be the men's keirin and head-to-head sprints, and the judo starts in the SEC Centre, with Scotland looking to better their four medals in Birmingham.

The sporting action concludes with finals in the velodrome – including the women's keirin, on the judo mat, the bowling green and the netball court, where England will hope to be involved in the gold-medal match.
