BBC: Chelsea’s 18 year old goal machine ready for new contract and first loan

Nizaar Kinsella is today reporting on one star youngster who is set to sign a new deal before finally stepping up to the senior game.
Mheuka prefers European move for minutes

Kinsella reports that Shim Mheuka is going to get a new deal until 2033, with the 18 year old currently finalising those talks.
The BBC man reports that Mheuka has interest from “more than a dozen clubs” across “Europe and the Championship” after a season where he won the Premier League 2 player of the year award.
Chelsea have a lot of strikers on their books in the first team right now, and while Mheuka’s talent is up there with the best of them, he needs senior minutes, and the priority in finding the right loan is surely picking a team who can guarantee him starts.
For his part, Mheuka is said to prefer a move to continental Europe.
