See the full story · 1 sourcesEvery year the Raiders release new updated measurables (height/weight) on the teams roster website, while these measurables aren’t made fully known they are updated, you can cross compare to other sites and previous years to identify the new values for each player. It’s always fascinating to find which players, often new to the organization, have either gained or lost weight usually signaling a role in the system that’s different from their previous roles. Another large batch is usually rookies, who teams work with to mold into their ideal specifications at the position, often seen at OL/CB and some DL.

Kirk Cousins: 205 pounds -> 209 pounds
Fernando Mendoza: 236 pounds -> 225 pounds Mendoza was 225 pounds during his time at Cal, Indiana bulked him up to around 235 pounds, and the Raiders likely want him lighter to play in their movable pockets, rollouts, boots, and other mobile QB concepts

Runningback:
Ashton Jeanty: 211 pounds -> 208 pounds
Mike Washington Jr: 6’1/223 -> 6’2/228
