Jacksonville and New Orleans will open their NFL preseason schedule on Saturday. Kickoff between the Jaguars and Saints is scheduled for 4 p.m. EDT at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
According to Jacksonville's depth chart on Jaguars.com , former Vol Joey Aguilar is listed as their fourth quarterback.
Trevor Lawrence is listed as the Jaguars' starting quarterback, while Nick Mullens is second and Carter Bradley is third.
Aguilar played at Tennessee in 2025. He completed 272-of-404 passing attempts for 3,565 yards, 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 13 games during his only season with the Vols.
Aguilar finished behind two SEC quarterbacks for passing yards during the 2025 season: Trinidad Chambliss of Ole Miss (3,937 yards, 15 games) and Ty Simpson of Alabama (3,567 yards, 15 games).
He transferred to Tennessee from UCLA after 2025 spring football practices. Aguilar never played in a game for the Bruins after transferring to UCLA from Appalachian State following the 2024 campaign.
