With the 2026-27 high school sports season approaching, the El Paso Times will give readers a chance to vote to select El Paso's top athletes and teams.
This week, readers vote for who could be the 2026 top quarterback in high school football. Voting ends at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13.
Here are the nominees:
Rodrigo Martinez, Ysleta. Led the Indians to a district title in Class 4A in 2025.
Carlos Rojas III, Riverside. A UTEP commit and is a dual-threat QB.
Jamari Milton, Andress. A veteran presence for the Eagles.
Brycen Booth, El Dorado. Has come a long way in last two years.
Angel Dominguez, Bel Air. Has potential for big season.
Gerry Gandara, Mountain View. Look for big season from Gandara.
Kingston Jeffries, Eastwood. Will be leader for defending District 1-6A champs.
Joe Fernandez, Pebble Hills. A senior leader for the Spartans.
Jordan Morales, Hanks. A big-time player for the Knights.
Julian Williams, Eastlake. Looks to be on solid season in 2025.
Isaac Anaya, Socorro. Look for Anaya to have breakout 2026.
