Canton, Ohio, will be the center of the football universe once again this weekend as the Pro Football Hall of Fame welcomes its Class of 2026.
Drew Brees, Roger Craig, Larry Fitzgerald, Luke Kuechly and Adam Vinatieri will get their gold jackets Saturday as they join the sport's elite for all-time.
It should be a joyous day celebrating five men who made an impact on the game in different ways, from arguably the most successful kicker in NFL history in Vinatieri to the inarguable face of a franchise in Fitzgerald.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be enshrined beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

Canton's Class of 2026 features four players who starred in the NFL in the early 2000s and one throwback to the 1980s. Drew Brees and Larry Fitzgerald both got the call in their first year of eligibility after retiring following the 2020 season.
Brees spent 20 years in the league, throwing four at least 5,000 yards in a season a record five times, and led the Saints to their lone Super Bowl title to cap the 2009 campaign.
Fitzgerald is the first player to make the Hall after spending the majority of his career — all 17 years of it, in his case — in Arizona. The 11-time Pro Bowl selection is second only to Jerry Rice in career receiving yards (17,492) and receptions (1,432).
Kuechly also spent his entire career with one team, the Panthers , and made the most of his eight-year stint in the league before retiring at 28 due to concerns about concussions. He was named first-team All-Pro five times and took NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2013, a year after being named Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Viniateri spent 24 seasons in the NFL, winning three Super Bowl titles with the Patriots and one with the Colts . His 599 field goals are the most in league history and he finished his career second all-time with 874 extra points.
Craig was a key piece of the 49ers ' 1980s dynasty alongside Rice and Joe Montana, helping San Francisco to three Super Bowl titles. The all-purpose back became the first player to rack up 1,000 yards rushing and receiving in a season (1985) and was named NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 1988.
