USA TODAY Sports reports that Texas received a commitment from five-star running back Landen Williams-Callis, who has been around, over and through the competition. The Longhorns won out for Williams-Callis' services over the likes of Missouri, SMU and Texas A&M .
The class of 2027 RB rushed for 3,502 yards and an unfathomable 59 touchdowns a year ago at Randle Richmond High School, located in Texas.

Heading into his senior season, Williams-Callis has a chance to rush for 10,000 yards for his high school career, and needs just over 3,800 yards to break the Texas high school career rushing record.
Williams-Callis' uncle is Michael Lewis, the former Colorado All-American who spent nine seasons in the NFL.
