TMZ has released details of Houston Rockets star Tari Eason applying for a restraining order against an ex, including both violence and property damage.
Tari Eason signed a 5-year, $81 million contract with the Houston Rockets earlier this month. While it’s less than what the NBA star may have expected initially, it’s still a secure payday.
However, the situation is not always as good as it looks from the outside. According to reports that are now coming out, Eason had trouble brewing behind the scenes.
It seems that Eason has been dealing with some serious harassment from his ex, the details of which are coming to light following his own application for a restraining order.

Tari Eason’s ex allegedly punched him and destroyed $92K worth of damage to his property
Eason has applied for a restraining order against Marilyn Maritza Melo Rodriguez, a 32-year-old woman the NBA star has described as someone he ‘used to date.’
“Tari claims one of Marilyn’s friends called him to ‘tell me that she would ‘break both of my legs’ and ‘kill me,'” TMZ revealed in their report .
“He says a discussion turned violent when Marilyn allegedly ‘repeatedly struck me in the face with a closed fist.’
“He says after he left her, Marilyn went back to his Airbnb where he alleges she ‘took all my clothes and poured liquid bleach on them, ruining them.’ He claims she caused $92K worth of loss in personal property.”
No one deserves to deal with abuse and harassment in any romantic relationship, and hopefully Eason will be allowed to protect his peace, if the allegations do turn out to be true.
