Indiana fans garnered some controversies following some drama during the Fever’s matchup against the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday night.
Going into the game, Indiana has been shining as one of the best teams in the entire league. They even gained possession of the East’s top seed for a solid stretch of games, making a case as a potential title contender.
They were due for a big matchup, taking on the championship DNA of the Aces. They surely went at it as the game went into overtime, but that didn’t stop fans from making significant noise throughout the contest.

Two fans, in particular, seemed to have taken it too far. Aces players were complaining them to the referees and security, ultimately resulting in the ejections of both people.

How Fever played against Aces
The Fever certainly took things down to the wire against the Aces. However, their efforts fell short after falling 86-84 in the overtime thriller.
Indiana had chances to pull off the home victory over the title-contending Aces. Unfortunately, their poor display in the third quarter and missed chances throughout the night cost them the game.
Three players scored in double-digits for Indiana in the loss. Kelsey Mitchell led the team with a stat line of 28 points, four assists and two steals. She shot 10-of-18 from the field, including 2-of-4 from beyond the arc, and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line. Aliyah Boston came next with 21 points and 12 rebounds, Caitlin Clark had 20 points and eight assists, while Monique Billings provided eight points and four rebounds.
Indiana fell to a 19-12 record on the season, sitting at second place in the Eastern Conference standings. They are above the New York Liberty and the Washington Mystics while trailing the Atlanta Dream.
The Fever will look to bounce back in their next matchup, being on the road. They take on the Chicago Sky as tip-off commences on Aug. 8 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
