Could Micah Parsons makes his return against the Dallas Cowboys?
Micah Parsons is back in Dallas Cowboys news again, but not in a way that will excite Cowboys fans.
The Green Bay Packers superstar, 49 weeks removed from his trade away from Dallas and nine months removed from tearing up his knee, isn't ruling out making his return against the Cowboys.
Dallas tailback Jaydon Blue continues to impress as he buries the bad memory of his failed rookie year, while tight end Princeton Fant's year is done before it really began.
Here is how Dallas is going through the second week of training camp.
Micah Parsons
There are another three weeks until the one-year anniversary of the Parsons trade arrives, but his name is back in the news for obvious reasons. Parsons tore his ACL last December, is working his way back and is likely to begin the year on the physically unable to perform list, which means his first game couldn't come before Week 5.
So who does Green Bay play in Week 6? Yes, they are hosting Dallas at Lambeau Field on Sunday Night Football on Oct. 18.
Meanwhile, Parsons gave his first extensive interviews since spring and was specifically asked about a return against the Cowboys.
"Yeah, I think it's very realistic," Parsons said in comments quoted by Packers.com . "Me and the staff, we've got to put the work in. We've got to do our part to make it possible. It's not off the board but we've got to put the work in."
When he does hit the field, he offered a warning.
"The anger, the frustration, the things that I'm going to have to let out because of how long it's been since I played … that's what people should really worry about," Parsons said. "Like, how great is Micah going to be when he gets back? Not about when I get back."

Jaydon Blue
Dallas' big draft bust from 2025 could be the player making the leap in 2026. That would be tailback Blue, a star at the University of Texas who spent most of last season in the doghouse as he was called out for maturity issues.
By all accounts, Blue responded with a strong offseason and has now been a camp revelation as he works to secure the backup job behind Javonte Williams.
"I'm just (focused on) stacking these good days out here," Blue told DallasCowboys.com , following the second Cowboys' padded practice on Tuesday, Aug. 4. "I've just been more intentional. Like I said, this offseason, my main priority was making sure that I stayed in the playbook and was doing things that the coach was asking me to do."
Blue said he profited from criticism he received from the Cowboys staff, including head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
"There were some constructive criticisms that were going to come with (being a rookie), but that's all a part of it," Blue said . "I took that as motivation, and I also looked at myself in the mirror and was like, 'I got to be better, if I want to be where I want to be.'"
Princeton Fant
Dallas got some expected bad news Wednesday, Aug. 5, when they learned tight end Princeton Fant, who was carted off the field Monday with a knee injury, does have structural damage to his ACL and MCL that will require season-ending surgery.
Fant has mostly been a practice-squad player since entering the league as an undrafted free agent, though he has played 11 games, largely in a special teams capacity. He does not have a career catch.
Fant was in the competition to be the No. 3 tight end after Jake Ferguson and Brevyn Spann-Ford. Luke Schoonmaker and undrafted free agents Michael Trigg and DJ Rogers are competing for that spot now.
Aaron Donald
Are the rich about to get richer? Preseason Super Bowl favorites, the Los Angeles Rams, hosted retired, future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald for a workout on Wednesday, per the league's transaction wire.
Both sides have made it clear they are open to a reunion. The 35-year-old Donald, a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, retired after the 2023 season.
Coach Sean McVay said nothing will be finalized before the team returns to its facility in Southern California following the Thursday, Aug. 6, conclusion of training camp.
Stefon Diggs
Receiver Stefon Diggs has a new home in Washington. The four-time Pro Bowler has signed a one-year deal worth up to $12 million. He had 1,013 receiving yards last regular season for the New England Patriots and another 110 in the postseason, helping them to the Super Bowl.
