Kaprice Keith (b. Feb. 18, 2008) is a athletic young wide receiver from Omaha (Neb.) High School Central who plans on majoring in business administration. He enrolled in time for 2026 spring practices at K-State.
Keith prepped under head coach Terrance Mackey at Omaha Central, where he was rated as the 61st-best athlete in the Class of 2026 by 247Sports , while he was regarded as the fifth-best prospect in the state of Nebraska by ESPN after totaling 997 receiving yards and 1,869 all-purpose yards with 17 total touchdowns during his career.
He also produced 73 tackles and eight interceptions on defense in high school. However, “I think I am a natural wideout. I just played safety in high school,” Keith told GoPowercat.com . “My speed and my catching ability are my best traits.”
Despite Chris Klieman’s sudden retirement , Keith flipped his commitment to and signed with K-State over offers from Colorado, Colorado State, Iowa State ( from which he decommitted after Matt Campbell left for Penn State) and Sacramento State, as well as interest from Kansas, Missouri, home state team Nebraska, North Dakota, Notre Dame, South Dakota, USC and Wisconsin.
*Keep in mind that starting this season, redshirted players can play in up to nine total games and retain their year of eligibility. If the 5-for-5 rule survives its court challenges, that number goes from nine to “all of them.”
