Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is live THIS MORNING (Sat., Aug. 1, 2026) with UFC Belgrade, streaming live online via Paramount+ . The event happens inside Beogradska Arena in Belgrade, Serbia. This is the promotion’s first-ever trip to the Balkans. Uros Medic vs. Daniel Rodriguez serves as our main event today.
UFC Belgrade Preview
Medic — from nearby Novi Sad, Serbia — gets his first UFC main event slot here. He’s earned it with blistering finishes over Geoff Neal ( see that here ), Muslim Salikhov ( that one here ) and Gilbert Urbina ( re-live that here ). The combined time of those fights is less than four minutes. Rodriguez , meanwhile, is coming off a grueling win over Kevin Holland ; however, he’s been held out for sometime because of legal issues ( which saw him stuck in a Mexican jail for eight months ).
The co-main event is Jan Blachowicz vs. Navajo Stirling . Blachowicz was scheduled to face Bogdan Guskov , before Guskov was needed in Abi Dhabi last weekend . Stirling comes in on short notice, just a month removed from his win over Ion Cutelaba .
The rest of the main card is a “Balkans vs. The World” theme with Aleksandar Rakic vs. Marcin Tybura , Dusko Todorovic vs. Robert Valentin , Vlasto Cepo vs. Gilbert Urbina and Milos Janicic vs. Noah Gugnon .
The “Prelims” are headlined by Ludovit Klein vs. Tofiq Musayev . Mateusz Rebecki (a walking “ Fight of the Night ”) also makes an appearance. He’s facing Kyle Prepolec . Other notable fights on the undercard include Oban Elliott vs. Michael Oliveira and Bogdan Grad vs. Dennis Buzukja .

Uros Medic vs. Daniel Rodriguez
Round 1: Medic lived up to his billing in this fight. He met Rodriguez in the centre and blitzed him with a huge combo. A left to the ear and a glancing knee sent Rodriguez to the mat. Medic then landed a soccer kick to the body before bombing away with punches to get the TKO in no time, which is pretty on brand for him.

Jan Blachowicz vs. Navajo Stirling
Round 1: Blachowicz takes the center and immediately starts to throw Polish Power at Stirling. Stirling backs off and avoids getting into trouble when he falls off his own kick attempt. Blachowicz catches him later and makes him wobble. Stirling regains his composure, but looks a little shell shocked out there. He works away with leg kicks and then steps in with a huge one-two that sends Blachowicz toppling over. Stirling pounces on his and lands some ground and pound, cutting Blachowicz open. Sterling lands a very hard elbow that forces Blachowicz to turtle up and prompt the stoppage.

Aleksandar Rakic vs. Marcin Tybura
Round 1: Rakic’s speed advantage is very noticeable. He’s tagging Tybura with four or five shots before Tybura can let one lose. His shots are landing, but don’t seem to be hurting Tybura, though. Rakic does a good job of getting out the way of Tybura’s punches, but you get the feeling that they might do some damage if they land. Rakic catches Tybura with a head kick, as Tybura leans forwards, towards the end of the round. That’s the closest he’s come to dazing the much bigger man.

Round 2: Same routine as the first round, with Rakic not slowing down. Tybura does manage to get hold of him in the clinch, though, and land some knees up the middle. Tybura is looking quite tired, though, from all the chasing he’s having ...
